max payne won't start

Hello , i have recently installed the max payne game , on my windows xp system , the problem i cannot launch the game , actually the game is not lauching , whenever i click on its icons, the Game does not respond , please tell me how to fix this problem , please help me thanks in advance

Minimum (minimum graphical detail):

• 450 MHz Intel/AMD Processor (or compatible)
• 96 MB RAM
• 16 MB Direct3D Compatible Graphics Card

Recommended (Medium graphical detail):

• 700 MHz Intel/AMD Processor (or compatible)
• 128 MB RAM
• 32 MB Direct3D Compatible Graphics Card

tips to improve compatibility in case you have problems:

1. Update your video, sound card and motherboard drivers with the latest versions available from your hardware manufacturer. (Using Beta drivers is not recommended)
2. Install the latest service packs for your operating system. They are available from Windows Update.

4. Verify you have at least 200 MB of free hard drive space for the Windows swap file after the installation of the game.
