Can we play resident evil online

I think in the previous versions, Capcom has not included any playable online version for resident evil till yet, but what about the residetn evil 5 version or is Capcom going to develop any resident evil online versions or not? Like the Left 4 dead game, I am hoping that we can get a online resident evil gaming saga too.

Resident Evil Online is to played on internet and gamers in Resident Evil Online will select one of the eight characters available for play, as will three other human players. Each unique character will have a separate path in the game, implying that the game does in fact have an episodic structure. There are currently 18 levels planned, each taking roughly two hours (the amount of time that Capcom found to be ideal for an online session) to complete, but this is still subject to change.

You can play Redisent Evil as Online Shooter but that version isn't really that fun and I therefore recommend geting number 4 or 5 on ps2 or ps3 or xbox 360they are alot more fun.
