myst game fixes for vista platform

I have vista ultimate installed on my pc and I am trying to figure out how to play myst game on this OS? I have played it on xp without any problems but why doesnt it work in Vista? Is there any compatability issues with the myst with vista? Can anyone tell me any myst game fixes for vista platform? Thank you

Yes it can work on vista, I have done it before. Try running the game in compatibility mode for Microsoft Windows XP SP2. It should work. I don't think there is a patch. I'm not a Myst player myself, but maybe there is a patch online for it that will enable it to run with DirectX 10.
