Do playstation 3 games work on a wii

Hello, I was wondering that does playstation 3 games work on a wii? One of my friend told me that it is possible and he has already done that by playing ps3 games on nintedo wii? So can anyone tell me whether it is possible so that I can also play playstation 3 games on the nintendo wii? Thank you

No you cannot play no for several obvious reasons.

1. Games developed of ps3 are designed to work only on th ps3, so they wouldnt work on the wii even if the wii could read the discs

2. The discs are blu ray, the wii cant read blu ray.

No, you cannot play Playstation 3 games on nintendo, but you can play playstation 2 games on playstation 3. Nintendo wii games will work only on similar gaming consoles. I think you friend was telling you a lie.

You can only play wii game and gamecube games but you cannot play ps3 games on nintendo wii.

1) PS3 uses Blu-ray.
2) PS3 games are coded to only work with The Playstation 3
3) If it could, there would be lawsuits up there.

well you can but you have to download the games from the internet then put them on disc
