    Harry Potter Dueling Interface

    Spell List and Effects

    Spell Incantation – Spell Name
    Spell Description
    Spell Type: Dueling/Environmental
    Spell Speed: Slowest/Slower/Slow/Medium/Fast/Faster/Fastest
    Spell Strength: Weakest/Weaker/Weak/Medium/Strong/Stronger/Strongest
    Spell Range: Nearest/Nearer/Near/Medium/Far/Farther/Farthest
    Spell Fatigue: Smallest/Smaller/Small/Medium/Large/Larger/Largest
    Note: Additional information about spell use

    AN: For Offensive Spells (O)
    Speed: The velocity at which the spell will travel
    Strength: The amount of damage to health and stamina it will cause
    Range: The distance the spell will travel before dissipating
    Fatigue: How much stamina it costs to cast the spell (0/20/40/50/60/80/100)

    AN: For Defensive Spells (D)
    Speed: How quickly the spell can be cast successfully
    Strength: Measures the relative amount of time the effect will last
    Range: The distance in which the spell’s effect will be inflicted on an opponent
    Fatigue: How much stamina it costs to cast the spell (0/20/40/50/60/80/100)

    AN: For Environmental Spells
    Speed: How quickly spell can be cast
    Range: Distance at which spell will take effect

    AN: Health and Stamina
    Health: Decreases when hit, character will faint when this runs out
    Stamina: Needed to cast spells, is constantly regenerating to value of 100.

    Stupefy – Stunning Spell (O)
    Basic Offensive Spell. Shoots a spell that damages the opponent.
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Fastest
    Strength: Weakest
    Range: Far
    Fatigue: Smallest
    Note: Can be cast while moving or dodging

    Protego – Shield Charm (D)
    Basic Defensive Spell. Creates shield to deflect incoming spells.
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Faster
    Strength: Strong
    Range: Nearest
    Fatigue: Smaller
    Note: Spells with strength equal to or stronger than shield will be weakened but not blocked

    Expelliarmus – Disarming Charm (D)
    Causes the opponent to be unable to attack for a temporary amount of time
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Fast
    Strength: Medium
    Range: Farther
    Fatigue: Large

    Petrificus Totalus/Incarcerous – Full Body Bind Curse/Capture Curse (D)
    Restricts the opponent from moving or casting for a short period of time
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Fast
    Strength: Weak
    Range: Medium
    Fatigue: Medium
    Note: Students will use Petrificus Totalus. Dark and Adult Wizards will use Incarcerous.

    Levicorpus – Lifting Jinx (D)
    Restricts the opponent from moving temporarily by suspending them upside down in the air.
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Faster
    Strength: Weak
    Range: Near
    Fatigue: Small
    Note: The opponent can continue to cast spells, but will not be able to dodge or evade them

    Rictusempra – Tickling Charm (O)
    Causes the opponent to sporadically be inflicted with laughter whilst fighting
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Slow
    Strength: Strong
    Range: Farther
    Fatigue: Medium

    Impedimenta – Impediment Charm (D)
    Slows the opponent’s movement and casting down temporarily
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Fast
    Strength: Weak
    Range: Near
    Fatigue: Smaller

    Silencio – Silencing Charm (D)
    Makes all spells cast by the opponent weaker and less effective
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Slow
    Strength: Stronger
    Range: Medium
    Fatigue: Medium

    Confringo – Blasting Curse (O)
    Used to blast the opponent further away from the caster
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Faster
    Strength: Medium
    Range: Near
    Fatigue: Largest

    Lumos – Illumination Charm (D)
    Emits a flash of light that damages the opponent’s vision or lights a dark place
    Type: Dueling and Environmental
    Speed: Medium
    Strength: Medium
    Range: Near
    Fatigue: Small
    Note: Spells cast by blinded opponents will be much less accurate until recovered

    Diffindo– Severing Charm (O)
    Used to cut tapestries or cut the opponent non-lethally.
    Type: Dueling and Environmental
    Speed: Slow
    Strength: Strong
    Range: Farther
    Fatigue: Larger

    Accio – Summoning Charm
    Causes the target to suddenly move towards the caster
    Type: Environmental
    Speed: Faster
    Range: Medium

    Alohamora – Unlocking Charm
    Causes the target to unlock itself
    Type: Environmental
    Speed: Faster
    Range: Nearer

    Depulso – Banishing Charm
    Causes the target to suddenly shoot away from the caster
    Type: Environmental
    Speed: Faster
    Range: Medium

    Reducto – Reductor Curse
    Used to break solid objects into pieces
    Type: Environmental
    Speed: Medium
    Range: Medium

    Reparo – Repair Charm
    Used to repair broken objects
    Type: Environmental
    Speed: Medium
    Range: Medium

    Wingardium Leviosa – Hover Charm
    Lifts the target up into the air
    Type: Environmental
    Speed: Faster
    Range: Farther

    Expecto Patronum – Patronus Charm (D)
    Summons a patronus that homes in on the opponent or asks distant NPCs for advice
    Type: Dueling and Environmental
    Speed: Medium
    Strength: Medium
    Range: Medium
    Fatigue: Medium
    Note: When used on human opponents they will either become stunned or lose all stamina

    Hermione Granger

    Glacius – Freezing Charm (O)
    Shoots a wide spell with short range directly in front of caster, slows and does damage
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Fast
    Strength: Weak
    Range: Nearer
    Fatigue: Medium

    Ron Weasley

    Incendio – Burning Charm (O)
    Shoots a very long range spell that does damage over time
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Slower
    Strength: Medium
    Range: Farther
    Fatigue: Large

    Ginny Weasley

    Mucus Oppugno -Bat Bogey Hex (D)
    Causes the targets snot to attack them
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Faster
    Strength: Strong
    Range: Medium
    Fatigue: Small

    Neville Longbottom

    Mobiliarbus – Tree Summoning Charm (D)
    Causes a small tree to grow in front of the caster to act as shield
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Medium
    Strength: Stronger
    Range: Near
    Fatigue: Large

    Luna Lovegood

    Finite – Spell Ending Charm (D)
    Dispels all status effects
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Medium
    Strength: Strong
    Range: Nearest
    Fatigue: Medium

    Draco Malfoy

    Serpensortia – Snake Summoning Charm (O)
    Conjures snakes to distract and damage the opponent
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Slow
    Strength: Medium
    Range: Farthest
    Fatigue: Larger
    Note: The snakes will remain until dispelled by the target.

    Remus Lupin

    Werewolf Transformation (D)
    Changes Remus into a partial werewolf
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Medium
    Strength: Stronger
    Ranger: Nearest
    Fatigue: Larger
    Note: Remus will move faster and stamina will recover quicker. Spells become weaker.

    Nymphadora Tonks

    Metamorphmagus (D)
    Tonks will recover health by changing her body back to its unharmed form
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Medium
    Strength: Strongest
    Range: Nearest
    Fatigue: Largest
    Note: Can only be used once and stamina will be capped at half

    Severus Snape

    Sectumsempra – Cutting Curse (O)
    Strikes the opponent as if with a sword
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Fast
    Strength: Strongest
    Range: Near
    Fatigue: Largest
    Note: This spell will lower the maximum amount of stamina recoverable for the enemy

    Bellatrix Lestrange

    Crucio – Cruciatus Curse (O)
    Causes the target to be paralyzed with pain
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Fast
    Strength: Medium
    Range: Medium
    Fatigue: Large
    Note: Spell must be held to prolong effect but will drain stamina quickly

    Albus Dumbledore

    Flagella Ignis – Flame Whip Curse (O)
    Spins a very large whip of flame around the caster which can also deflect spells
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Faster
    Strength: Strongest
    Range: Medium
    Fatigue: Largest

    Lord Voldemort

    Avada Kedavra – Killing Curse (O)
    Shoots a green spell that will instantly defeat any opponent
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Slow
    Strength: Strongest
    Range: Farthest
    Fatigue: Largest
    Note: This spell cannot be blocked, only dodged.

    All Other Characters
    Volostupefy – Volleyed Stupefy Charm
    Splits the stupefy spell into a dozen individuals spell which barrage the opponent
    Type: Dueling
    Speed: Faster
    Strength: Medium
    Range: Medium
    Fatigue: Large

    Controls: (Xbox 360)
    X: Stupefy
    Y: Signature Spell
    B: Protego
    A: Dodge
    LB: Apparate Left (Uses stamina. Cannot cast stupefy.)
    RB: Apparate Right (Uses stamina. Cannot cast stupefy.)
    LT: Switch Character
    RT: Switch Character
    Left Analog: Move Character
    Right Analog: Cast Spells
    D-Pad Left: Pepper Up Potion (Recover Health)
    D-Pad Right: Wiggenweld Potion (Recover Stamina)
    Start: Open Menu
