PS3 won't play movies

My movies won't work on my ps3. when i try to play them my ps3 shows nothing no signal what should i do first there was green screen but now no signal i have played this movies befor in my Ps3 but didnt have any problem . What should i do ?

You can try to Go to settings adn see if your BD settings are enabled. First thing you should know that All blue ray players have to have their bd movie playing license renewed every year.Contact Sony directly 1-800-345-7669.

I was having the same problem ,, when i update to version 2.3. There should be some problem with your PS3 . or some movies have protection codes that don't allow them to be played..if this is the case try connecting the ps3 directly to the hdtv.

You need to restore your PS3 . Connect your control direct to your ps3. Hold your power button for 5 seconds it will turn on after that remove your finger for a second and hold back again the power button till you hear 2beeps then remove your finger yur ps3 will turn off It is a manual reset . Turn it on it will ask you to connect your controller after that you will have to connect it there you will have 6 options and will choose RESTORE FILES!your system will check for your system defaults just proceed with the following corrupted files
