Currently i am playing resident evil 5 on Xbox 360 . This is the best game after fallout 3 . i want to know how many weapons are there in resident evil 5 and which is best for what or all time . i like sniper a lot .please you can post your favorite weapon and what you like in it .

There are totals 8 type of Weapon

• Knives
• Pistols
• Shotguns
• Machine guns
• Rifles
• Magnums
• Grenades
• Rocket/Grenade Launcher

You can upgrade each weapon in different ways to improve the various stats particular to that weapon. if you Max out all the upgrades of a particular weapon you can unlock infinite ammo for it. you have five unlockable weapons , you can unlock them by purchasing all the upgrades for certain other weapons in the game.

• Handguns - Short range weapons, they are quick to aim and reload. You'll start the game with a handgun as your primary weapon, but with the right upgrades they remain useful throughout the game.
• Magnums - Magnums use different ammunition than handguns. They have less capacity than handguns, and are slower to reload. They make up for it by doing an incredible amount of damage.
• Shotguns - Another close range weapon, shotguns can put most enemies down with a single shot if they're close enough. They're most useful for crowd control and their spread makes them superior against groups of enemies.
• Machine Guns - This weapon type covers both sub-machineguns and assault rifles, because in this game they all use the same type of ammunition. They are good for both medium and long range. When using a machine gun, be sure to fire only in short bursts to conserve ammunition and maintain accuracy.
• Rifles - Sniper rifles. Good at both medium and long range, these rifles are slow to fire and reload, and have a limited ammo capacity. They make up for it with excellent accuracy and damage. These rifles use scopes to aim, and some players use sniper rifles because they prefer this aiming style.
• Explosives - grenades, land mines, and rockets. These are useful against groups of enemies or bosses
