    Other video and movie options

    UMD™ Video
You can also play UMD™ (Universal Media Disc) Video discs on your PSP system.

    Converting video / movie files
If the video / movie files you want to view are in a format that is not supported by the PSP system, you may be able to convert them into a compatible format with Media Go

Re: Unsupported data on psp movie

Make sure the movie or video file formats are supported by your PSP system. For details, see Compatible Movie/Video Formats.

Chose your saving method and follow the instructions:

Saving to a Memory Stick Duo using a computer
    • You can connect your Memory Stick Duo or your PSP system with the Memory Stick Duo inserted in it, to a computer, then transfer and save files from the computer to the Memory Stick Duo.
    • For detailed instructions, see Transferring files from a computer to a PSP system via a Memory Stick Duo.

Saving directly to a Memory Stick Duo in a PSP system
    • In some instances, you can also save directly to a Memory Stick Duo in your PSP system in the following instances: For detailed instructions, see Saving Directly to a Memory Stick Duo in a PSP system.

Save the movie or video files into the VIDEO folder inside the PSP folder on your Memory Stick Duo.
The PSP system can read videos up until second level subfolders, but will not read videos in third level or lower subfolders.
