How to fix a psp memory stick

how to fix a psp memory stick , All of sudden this morning my psp memory was not recognize by my Psp what should i do . Is this broken can i fix this card please guys some help .

It is really easy .Here are the following you should do :

• Remove the memory card .
• got to the setting and choose format memory stick..
• It will confirm all the data will be deleted ,, confirm it and insert the corrupt memory stick and choose yes.

Upgrade your PSP's Firmware (its operating system) before doing anything else. Firmware 5.0 solves many software problems that are encountered with older memory sticks. You can upgrade it by simply connecting your PSP to any wireless connection through its WiFi. Once a connection is established, the PSP will update itself automatically.

Upgrade the PSP's Firmware . it could solve your problem . I will recommed you to update it with Firmware 5.0 it will encountered with older memory sticks.

Check if the memory stick's plastic tongs are straight, it is a small sticks that separate each connection. If it is bent then PSP will not recognize your memory card .

Try your memory stick into your PC see if you see all the save files in it if you can good,,,, if not memory stick is defective.

If it is visible then Copy your files from the memory stick ..Format your memory stick, after the format It should recognize the disk now.

How to solve this problem

Take a memory card reader and put your memory card to your computer
Go to "Start".
got to My Computer Right click on it and select "Manage" there will be a popup of "Computer Management"
check in the "Device Manager". on the right there are all the list and "Disk drives" tab now Right click on your memory stick no choose "Properties".
