Need Help with Death to Spies Game

Hi

i Downloaded Death to Spies from a DVD i got

then when i run it i see Black screen and it says

"Video Mode not Support"

i Tried Left Click > Properties > Compatibility Then

Run in 640 x 480 Screen Resoultion but its The same

Wish get Help from you guys

so check you video card capability also if you are using onboard graphics then for some game such graphics is not compatible mostly like in case you have intel motherboard..

This is a common problem with Windows Vista. Try running it with Windows XP compatibility. Then you will get a black screen when you launch the game, wait for some time, the game will start...

check the Screen refresh rate of your monitor. If it is in high range set to a low or midrange setting like 60 – 70 hertz. You will find Refresh rates Display properties–>advanced–>monitor.

You are trying to set a larger resolution than it is capable of displaying, you need to reduce your monitor resolution to 1280X1024 some see if error comes or just raise your resolution until the error occurs and take back to supported resolution

Or try runing your pc in safe mode

Is this the only game you have with this problem? sounds like corrupted texture files. i would try a reinstall with as many running processes as possible turned off. do you know what the temperature of you video card is getting to? Or it may display the message if the video settings in Windows are not supported by the monitor. Try booting to the menu Safe Mode is on, but choose Enable VGA mode, NOT Safe Mode. That loads Windows normally except it forces the video into a bsic VGA mode all monitors and video display adapters support. If that doesn't work, Check your hard drive with the manufacturer's diagnostics.

how to boot in safe mode? ^^

Restart your system and press F8 key from the keyboard continuously. Then the system will automatically show a menu with some options. Select safe mode from there and press enter. Then it will give you a list of Operating System installed in the system. Select yours and press enter. Usually it only shows one. Just hit enter.
