| Re: ps3 won't play 1080p GTA 4
Not all ps3 games 1080 are capable of. The maximum out more at 720p. I heard that Gta4 's native res is generated slightly below after upscale 720p or downscale. Look very HD upscale it to 1080 but would not it look better. Could have done it but there wouldn't have been much point. Maybe it does have a 1080 output. Have you got ps3 configured to 1080p output? |

I think you need to buy HDMI cable to run 1080p on it. actually i am running on the same this is perfectly running. This will solve your complete problem of 1080p to run on PS3. If require any further assistance just post here! |

It does not work automatically to 1080p if you say to your system that your TV supports 720p regardless of whether supports 1080p as well. You'll have to uncheck the contribution to 720p. Then your TV 's exposure to 1080p should read while you run the game. But there was no significant difference for me. It 's probably upscaling or something to effect of no / minimal. Probably something to do with the native resolutions. GTA4 seems lacking to me visually compared to other games of that generation anyway. |
