My PS3 keeps freezing up

I am facing a problem with my PlayStation 3 (PS3). My PS3 keeps freezing up when I use the internet. Well, it completely freezes up and the only way to unfreeze is to turnoff the machine and then switch it on again.....Can anyone help me solving this problem.....thnx

Disable the information bar at the top right hand corner of the PlayStation 3 main menu .

I am also having the same problem with my PlayStation 3 when I surf the internet. I also tried to update but still the same problem persists....

I have PS3 60 gigs which used to freezing up randomly. I ran the update and it started working properly again. Try to find the compatible update and simply run it to solve the freezing problem...
