Understanding alchemy in morrowind

I'm still playing Morrowind, therefore, have even a beginner in the game. As I value Alchemy 15th. Now I have a book on alchemy, and also found the Alchemy of the apprentice . But each potion, which I try to go next. I have to do several tries.

My questions:
- Are there any potions with different difficulty? What is suitable for the beginning?
- Has the quality of Alchemy have an impact on the success?

Alchemy value 15 is pretty bad. That is also why you do not succeed mixtures. If ever an alchemy of your main or secondary skills? The main skills should so often be 30-50 points, the secondary Skills 20-30.

I usually buy at the top of the temple in Balmora at the local alchemist at the level where you come inside (right around then), only over 100 times by the two herbs to restore health (or was it perseverance, I can not now invoke ( Shame on me! ) And hunt through the caldera of mine in stolen master alchemy. Everything about the potion production use what you find, like rat meat. The result must not necessarily be a useful potion! Poisons or potions, for example, reduce the stamina, you can sell.
