    GEForce 8800GT FPS falling sharply

This query is for those who use GEForce 8800 gts card to play the graphic games. I want to ask that the fps rate ( Frames Per Second ) is falling sharply in the games. There is a little blurry type of look on the screen. Has anyone noticed this. How can I increase the fps rate of a game. I know there are some settings by which I can increase the fps rate. Help needed

The problem can be with your driver. Update you system to new drivers. And then play some games and try. The same problem I was having when my video quality and the 3D what not up to the mark. So I upgrade the driver. Go to the the nvidia website and download the latest driver. By upgrading the drivers the frame issue will be solved.

I am using GEForce 8800 gts card with 512 mb ram. I had improved my quality of games by reducing the texture detail. In your game setting reduce your texture details to 50%. This will also increase the speed of your system. It is possible that by default the game recognizes a wrong size of memory. In the console reduce the texture detail up to half of the size it already has.

Re: GEForce 8800GT FPS falling sharply

Lets do a basic changes in the advance video option. Disable vsync under the advance video option. This reduces your GPU pressure. So that it can utilize more resources for your graphic and display thing. My game has become much smoother by this. Now second thing is that if your are running a less powerful CPU and RAM then you cannot do anything. Like it need a Core to due Processors and with a proper PSU. In case of power supply it is important that there should be adequate power provide to your GPU. Eg. nVidia 8800 gts graphic card needs 26A power supply as compare to 12A which is regular one.
