Tony Hawk has a motion-aware skateboard

As expected, the first details on the new game Tony Hawk were unveiled today exclusively at a fellow American. This allows us to relay some information including the name of the game start from the beginning, the name of the game we shall speak more of the new Tony Hawk and Tony Hawk in 2009 or even Tony Hawk's Proving Ground 2 but Tony Hawk Ride. Why Ride? Because the game will focus on the good pleasure to move freely on its board. To achieve this, developers RoboModo (new studio for the series) and Tony Hawk have chosen to abandon the classical handling pad. Finite combination of buttons to place tricks and ollies and grabs. Place a real board for not playing with their feet. Logical for a game of skateboard!

Tony Hawk Ride will therefore play with a special accessory incorporating naturally the form of a board, but without the wheels. Equipped with infrared sensors everywhere and motion detectors, the plate was designed to allow all the acrobatics that true skater can expect from such a game champion Tony Hawk explains that the different level of difficulty will all but to find that the real skaters find their marks may be a little faster. We talk of course all of this when we have the first images. In the meantime, here is video of the famous board. Tony Hawk Ride happen in the course of the year on PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. A DS version, of course different, is also in the boxes.
