Re: Problem With The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes

Hello , i Think you Need DOSBox as it emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, modem, etc., necessary for running many old DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Linux and FreeBSD. However, it is not restricted to running only games. In theory, any DOS application should run in DOSBox, but the emphasis has been on getting DOS games to run smoothly, which means that communication, networking and printer support are still in early developement.

Have you checked if this game was compatible with Vista ?
If this is the case two solutions:
    • Go to the publisher's site to see if any patches for Vista compatibility are available
    • Run your game in compatibility mode Windows XP

    For compatibility mode.
    • You right click on the icon for your game and then click "Properties" from the menu that opens.
    • You choose the tab "compatibility" and you check "Run this program in compatibility mode for ..." and you choose Windows XP.
