Thief 4 Officially Announced

For several weeks, Eidos-Montreal is like a teaser in the world referring to a new project. The studio currently at work on Deus Ex 3 has finally confirmed the rumors after the magazine Edge has sold the bit last week (even brief: Thief 4 is the new draft Eidos) by opening the official website Thief 4.

The only information on the title will be content with this statement of Stéphane D'Astous, general manager:

"We're still early stages of development but it is an incredibly ambitious project and very exciting [...]. It is too early to offer details on the game at the moment we are focusing on recruiting the best talent to join the core team and help us create what we believe to be one of the most exciting games to come on the market. "

In short, beautiful as usual palaver. Obviously no release date has yet been advanced or even platforms used to host the title, although a release on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is clearly feasible.
