    Fallout 3 - Startup issue

    Hello,
At the startup of Fallout3 i'm getting the following error :

    ---------------------------
    Fallout
    ---------------------------
    Failed to initialize renderer.
Hardware T&L required but not supported by Adapter.
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

    What to do?

Sounds to me that you have got Intergrated graphics and not an actual graphic card. If this is the case then you have 2 options.

1 - you have no chance of playin this game as your onboard graphics just dont cut it and you will be lucky to play any game

2- you need to purchase a graphic card.

Let me know what specs your pc has and i/we might be able to help.
Do you know what graphic card is installed (if any)?

Seems like your graphics card is not up to much. T&L = Texture & Lighting Something which your card doesn't support and I would imagine that its OB graphics.

In short you need a new graphics card.

Well, can you tell us what is the computer specification that you are having? And which graphics card have you installed in your system. If you are getting the error message "Failed to initialize renderer" then you simply need to update your graphics driver to the latest. Also update the directX version on your pc and see if that corrects the issue or not.
