Crashes on all Games !

Hello,

My configuration:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (3.6GHz, 1.44v) with TR Ultra 120E,
Gigabyte GA-EX38-DQ6 v1.1, 4GB G.Skill PI 1066 5-5-5-15 2.1v ,
Powercolor ATI HD4870X2 2GB, 4x SATA2 500GB Samsung HDD RAID 10,
Creative X-Fi, Dell 2408WFP A01 24" LCD,
Acer P221w 22" LCD,
Corsair HX-1000 Watt PSU,
Vista 64-bit.

Whatever game i try to plat pop 2008, call of duty 5, NFS UC, Fallout 3 etc after playing for few mins, games goes to crash.

cpu temp idle is around 43 degrees celcius and after the crash it goes up to around 58.

Please any suggestions?

It is also possible that your audio drivers or graphics drivers can cause problems if you haven't updated. Do a update of your drivers and make sure you have drivers compatible with vista 64-bit.

Audited and especially trying to do a little cleaning the interior bcp sometimes solves its problems.

Very much sounds like a heat problem. I had the same problem. Play a game for about 5 minutes and then open up the case of your computer. See if the fan on your ATI card is spinning. My bet is it isn't. These fans are pretty cheap and burn out often. You should be able to find one on ebay or something. I'm fairly sure its the card because other items that don't use the 3d processor aren't locking your machine up

Another way to prove it would be to let the machine cool down. Then open it up, put a house fan next to it and have it blow on the insides. Then fire it up, and play. If it doesn't lock up, sure thing its the fan.

Do you get any error messages or just a crash to desktop? When the crash occurs? during video of games or during play? you should try by lowering the settings of games.
