EA releases a tool for de-authorization to install the game multiple times

"Electronic Arts removes the limitation of facilities for games that have released since last May to the present. "

Electronic Arts finally solves the problem of anti-piracy protections (DRM) of their games. Were taken two solutions: a tool to de-authorize a specific and generic. Let's see how it works: first you can download from here, find all Electronic Arts games installed on your PC and download the recommended tool to remove the specific authorization of an individual product. The second, aimed at experienced users, it concerns the individual game and provides, therefore.

The tool does not uninstall the software, but simply a slot free installation, thus giving the opportunity to reinstall it again. Previously, stringent DRM Electronic Arts prevented more than five installations and the installation on more than one PC. De-authorize the software temporarily, so you can do a fresh install, perhaps on a new PC. If you proceed to the back, it is possible to return to play with the previous installation.

The new tool cover virtually all games published by Electronic Arts on the PC since last May, including Crysis Warhead, Spore, Mass Effect, Mirror's Edge. For some of these games like Spore and Crysis Warhead, the tools of de-authorization shall be available for some weeks.

Moreover, in recent weeks, Electronic Arts announced that The Sims 3, leaving in the first week of June, will use a non-invasive DRM. It will not be required to authenticate online, but this will be simply associated with the serial copy purchased, as in The Sims 2.

I can finally buy Mass Effect with no problems ...It is always good when the big houses are aware of mistakes and come back because, frankly, this measure did not need to own anything.

Re: EA releases a tool for de-authorization to install the game multiple times

In any case it is annoying because the bottom of the original disc touches always get another cd made by us that contains the patch file, so that tomorrow if the patch is no longer on the internet (as sometimes happens when the software house the game are assigned or sold) the file remains there, near the original disc ...
It is not for the cost of the cd ... but as the "ruin" everything aesthetically when transforming into a other form..
