    trucks simulator and prism 3d.exe

    Hello to you all!
I had installed us trucks simulator and played for a few months without too many problems (apart from the so-called prism 3d.exe, sometimes blocking all) but now the game does not even starts and displays the same blocking message again and again ever, saying it must close. The drivers of the graphics cards are updated, so ... no need to go there. I have direct x, latest version installed ... but apparently the game starts in open GL ... If you have some ideas to mind, I would be grateful if you let me know.

Did you check that no patches are there for this game? It may be a known bug.

actually it is a known bug archives but I found nothing to correct it, it's crazy. I installed the game on a second PC (windows XP) and it starts and I get to play but after a while, indeterminate, and the error returns. Without doubt an incompatibility?

    From the support site:

There are several possible causes for this to happen. In most cases, the critical element of resolving the problem is upgrading video card drivers.

    • Reportedly, some computer vendors ship new machines with the system preconfigured, but without proper drivers for the particular brand of 3D accelerator card installed, including OpenGL support. Make sure to always have proper up to date 3D card drivers installed.
    • Upgrades of certain Windows components (upgrade of DirectX, a Service Pack application) may require driver reinstallation afterwards.
    • You may have your desktop color depth (Color quality) in Windows set to 256 colors. Make sure you have Windows running in 16-bit or 32-bit color depth.
    • You may be using a very old computer with hardware capabilities below minimum specifications required to run Euro Truck Simulator.
