Problem with Need For Speed:d3dx9_30.dll

Hello,

I buy Need For Speed game, I have installed that game perfectly because it was working perfectly earlier.Problem arises when the game lagged for 2-3 times inbetween when i was playing,on later date I start the game, in fact, an error message tells me that a file called d3dx9_30.dll file missing; One of my friend who did buy the game had the same problem as me.

I have Windows XP installed on my machine.

What would be problem, and system restore may start the game again.
