Xbox 360 Controller Unable to use with PC Games

Hi,

I have connected my XBOX 360 controller via a plug and charge cable to my laptop so I could use it to play Fallout 3. I have downloaded all the software and from what I can see it is installed correctly.

But for some reason I can not use it in the game.

Can anyone help

Let me clear some things first, Xbox.com, Xbox 360 - Support - Xbox 360 Wired Controller ,and it seems that yours also has the wired connections and If its a wired controller you plug it directly into the USB port.

Fallout 3 like games needs to have its pad switched on otherwise it wont work anymore. Check all the wired connection has properly connected if you still found the same problem just go and check for the installation details given along with the Booklet given.
