Error Installing Red Alert 3

Hi,
I am facing Problem installing Red Alert 3. when i double click on the setup and pop up this. (The folder path 'Command_Conquer?Red Alert?3' contains an invalid character.)

Configuration

Operating System :Window XP Service Pack 2
Processor: core 2 duo
Ram: 1GB

It's because you have windows running in a non-english language, or at least have non english support active. Disable the application locale pack, restart and it should install fine.

thank you. That was exactly it although i couldn't see how to disable through application locale so i went control panel/regional options/addotherlanguages/advanced and removed the foreign packs in there, reboot.

And that fixed it. Also fixed 2 other games that didn't display that specific error but would not start.
I have never seen that error before but surely won't forget it now.
