PS2 on LCD Monitor

How can I connect PS2 to LCD monitor ? new Lcd's have SVHS ports. What do you think it would be like pluging in a Playstation 2 and playing games on an LCD ? I saw a PS2 through an old LCD TV couple years ago but it was all blocky and pixellated. Would the new LCDs handle this better or would the picture still be the worst. I have purchased an LCD monitor 22 "and I'd like to know how can I connect my PS2 on it. Is there a cable that can connect the console DVI / VGA?
I heard about a "VGA Box", is it reliable? The resolution will be good on a screen in 1600 * 1050?

Also, if I make the purchase of a DVI or VGA, is there a device that allows, for example by connecting my PC and my PS2 top, swap a video source to another quickly?

You can not be serious! Connect your PS2 and display 1600x1050! The PS2 is consue to display 640x420! If you will be run at any resolution that will jump! :lol: even the PS3 will only display in 1024!

PS3 in 1024 ? in fact "Wikipedia" HDTV resolutions: 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p. and then the PS2 was very variable! Variable from 256x224 to 1280x1024 pixels.

It depends upon games and lots of criteria, but it could in some cases up in 1280, and because the PS1 could do: Resolutions from 256×224 to 640×480 Resolutions from 256 to 640 × 224 × 480
