GTA 4 Problem (crashing)

I am playing GTA4 from last few days. Now it started crashing whenever i try to play the game. I have Windows XP running on my system. Can anyone help?

Check your system configuration. You will need at least a 32-core CPU, 128GB of RAM, and GTX 280's In Quad-SLI. Also check your graphics card drivers, update it if needed.

I think your video card is overheating. Update your GTA IV to the latest 1.0.2.0 patch it greatly improves my overall FPS and stability.

I will recommend you to buy PS3 to play GTA4. Because the PC version will get more n more problems like crashes, logs, freezing up, etc.

So if you really wanna enjoy the Game, have to spend little more. And it's worth.
