Unable to run Battlefield 2 and many other games

I have problems with my PC. There are some games that it will not run, it tries to boot. The screen just flashes black and then closes the game down again. I just installed Battlefield 2 and it will not and should it be.

My PC is a P4 2.8 GHz with 1 gb ram, my graphics card is Gforce4 TI4200. But it is strange that I can play Battlefield 2 on my laptop which is a Pentium 1.86 HGz with 1GB RAM and graphics card is a Radeon X300

Is there anyone who can help me so I can play Battlefield on my pc too.

Try just to check whether it at all live up to minimum requirements for the game. Find your stand at the link below and you should have passed in its entirety, otherwise the upgrade / update your machine to run them. http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest

Hey Hitman The page gives me not so much. It says that my laptop can not run it, and I have run it for several years on "smoothly. "What amazes me is that my laptop which has a lower cpu and a small graphics card can run it.

This is not your laptop you need to check

But the graphics card must support 1.4 pixels hate and Ti4200 supports only 1.3, so that immediately responds to your graphics card is not strong enough.

I just tested a machine with a Nvidia TI4600 card and it can not run
Battlefield 2 - due:
Vertex Shader Ver.: Required - 2.0 , You have - 1.1
Pixel Shader Ver.: Required - 2.0 , You have - 1.3 Pixel Shader

Your current graphics card is AGP8 type, so I based it should be again (which is probably not a PCI-e socket on your motherboard)

There you have the right, it says that my graphics card is not big enough for my stationary. I just thought that I had a similar graphics card. Is there a card can recommend, not too expensive. It need not be a top super-advanced one, I am not the big gamer who sits and plays constantly. But would also like to play most games
