Play Sims 1 on EEE PC

Took a sudden urge to play with those good old Sims, I thought trying the Sims 1 on my EEE PC.

Before I start of tinkering, I wanted to know if anyone had ever tried before me. My searches on Google do nothing conclusive. Can I expect to play Sims 1 on EEE PC in good condition and is there a simple way to achieve this?

I had played Sims 2 on a EEE PC once upon a time, so I think you should be able to run the Sims 1 also. But it is true that nobody EEE user has tested Sims.

The Sims 1 runs perfectly; however, on Sims 2 I'm having display problems ... The taskbar/action does not appear but the games go well.

For my part I have tried, taking the installed directory on my pc fixed and putting it on the EEE.

Double click the exe and it started. Maybe because of no cd crack that I tried to find ...

I have not tried with the CD image.

Create images of your installation cd's and put them on a hdd card / usb stick because it weighs about 2 GB then run the installation of your eee.

Attention you need at least 3GB of available space on hdd or any other medium!

Then you put your Crack no cd and the game will run without any problems.
