As you may no doubt have seen from our earlier news piece, blood thirsty Wii title Madworld has been successfully approved classification and will be released in Australia under the semi-risqué MA15+ rating. But what many people didn’t notice from that report is that the Classification Board clearly lists MadWorld as a ‘multi-platform’ title.
Here’s the report in question. The info is right at the top.
Pause for effect. This being the case, which other console will be experiencing the black and white stylised joy of chain sawing people in half, baseball batting foes into spike laden dart boards, and (that old family favourite) jamming a sign post through some guy’s eye socket and having him wander about in agony. Is this a next-gen port, or are PlatinumGames planning some portable action instead?
While we’re a-speculatin’, could this be a clerical error by the (borderline ‘ruthlessly’) efficent Australian Classification Board? The way they cross the T's and dot the lower cased J's over there, not likely. At this stage we’re inclined to think that the info is accurate, but only time will tell for sure. In the meantime we’ll be badgering SEGA to let the cat completely out of the bag, so keep your ear to the gore encrusted grindstone...
