crysis cd key tool launch problem

when I want to install crysis it does not work and it Give me following error: "could not launch the cd key tool.Setup will be terminated."

Does someone could tell me how to solve this problem thanks in advance

I had the same problem what i did was disable my firewall so i tried Disabling Zone Alarm Pro during setup solved my problem So if you have this running or some other application aware firewall try to disable it during install.

Try to close every single program running in your background and then try to install it. and remember to install in safemode

You have a problem that the tool can not start where you enter the CD key need. Have you tried all the virus software, firewalls and other security programs to stop running in the background?

initially had the “cannot generate cd-key tool setup will be terminated” error.This was found to be caused by my Zonealarm firewall program not allowing Crysis access to some files. I disabled Zonealarm and then it worked okay. Maybe you should try disabling your firewall as well? It may work for you.

I already have all the background programs running. The DVD I bought from a friend in which the game runs perfectly. My operating system is Windows XP with DX9 obviously. The hardware is my PC pretty retarded, but I think even Crysis meanwhile smooth play. and yes i tried running after disabling my background services and firewall it works fine thanks a lot
