"The creator of Deus Ex and its new software house, Junction Point Studios, according to items not officially confirmed would be working on a new Triple A game with Mickey Mouse."
Is described with the words "Epic Mickey" the new game on which Warren Spector would be working with its software house Junction Point Studios, owned by Disney and group based in Austin. The rumors were reported by the commerce site Gamasutra that claims to have seen the concept art depicting scenes of the game from a pre-alpha.
In one of the drawings, there would be a city with junk assembled in another invasion of a scene in which the robot with the appearance of the Seven Dwarfs deposited on a beach of reproductions of Disney characters. Gamasutra describes these images as' steampunk ', or belonging to a world of machines, steam and analog computer.
Already in recent months had discussed the project related to the world of Disney Warren Spector. The same creator of Deus Ex confirmed to be working on a Triple A game created in collaboration with Disney and Pixar. The software house founded by Spector, Junction Point Studios, has been acquired by Disney in July 2007.
Warren Spector is one of the authors of the most acclaimed games. Among the major successes it has had in his career remember titles like Ultima Underworld, System Shock and Deus Ex Spector was also part of some of the software house that made the history of video games: between Origin, Looking Glass Ion Storm.
In 2005 he founded Junction Point Studios and has repeatedly reiterated its work on two major projects. If one of these is the topic of this story, the other could be Ninja Gold, ninja game on to the modern setting and with fantasy elements that is working together with director John Woo.
