Problem in resolution games

I have a problem all my ds games the computer offers me the max resolution 1024 ds choices resolution possible. Which is what can steeple. I have a GeForce 9600GT

I got a 15-inch laptop .

If the game does not have screen format it will take the highest resolution in the format he knows (4:3).
1280 * 1024 will not work properly you have 800 horizontal pixels
therefore it will offer 1024 * 800.
