    Problem with Left 4 Dead

Hello, I bought L4D yesterday, and I have a big problem:

I can play for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4ht time without problems, it runs perfectly. But after some days, my screen freezes, turns black and the sound of blocks (repetitive noise). I am compelled to open the Task Manager and manually turn off the game.

    I give you my config:

    nVidia GeForce 8600 GT
    X86 PC processor with ACPI
    2x Intel Core 2 Duo 2.50 GHz CPU T93000

I do not know if you need something else, but please help me out of pity.

    Thank you in advance.

    hi,

Change the setting in configuration profile

Playing Left 4 Dead on minimum settings

I think you need to play L4D on minimum settings. And i think you need to update driver for your card as aftab1 said.

Go to advanced options and disable multicore rendering.

It's Nvidia's drivers that are the problem, going back to an older version helps as well.

IS not your rig, it's more then capable of running it. Still the source engine, if you could run HL2, you can run this.
nothing you can't figure out with just a little browsing.
