Ubisoft, in collaboration with Charles Cecil and Revolution Software, has signed an agreement to publish Knights of Baphomet - Director's Cut on the two small mobile screens and Nintendo console motion sensor of the same manufacturer.
Rather than propose a simple transposition of the original title, this version is based on the original version to offer a new story with new puzzles adapatation for the stylus or Wiimote. Dave Gibbons has even taken on the realization of animated facial expressions.
This new version opens with the brutal and horrible murder of one of the French state's richest and influential, and which the player is witness, under the skin of Nicole Collard, a charming Parisian journalist photographer. During his investigation, which takes place in new locations exclusive meeting Nico Courtesy George Stobbart, who was unwittingly caught up in the grim and bloody flight of an ancient manuscript. Together they are drawn into a terrible conspiracy rooted in a medieval legend long forgotten.
"The new version includes elements that enrich puzzles and the initial scenario," said Charles Cecil. "This helps explain what happened before the beginning of the original game, and what relates to the upcoming games in the series.
The Knights of Baphomet - Director's Cut is scheduled for release on Wii and Nintendo DS in March 2009.
