Last Friday, Kojima Productions has managed to make a start of envy and impatience number of players. And that, with the opening of a site which only the home page was accessible. The latter put forward a rather mysterious image (see right picture) and suggested the possibility of seeing the Metal Gear series on Xbox 360.While some rumors spoke of three ports of first episodes of the series Metal Gear Solid on the same platform, the truth is otherwise.
Indeed, the studio's iconic creator Hideo Kojima has revealed little, and on its website dedicated a new illustration after the first. In addition, the site of the Japanese publisher
Square Enix clarifies some gray areas remain.
The result is final: the next Metal Gear Solid released on ... iPhone and iPod Touch. Its code name is Metal Gear Solid Touch. Scheduled for spring 2009, under the same benefits to afford first few catches. For the time being no further official information has been filtered about the scenario.
However, the context of the game should be close to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots as we see the main character (Solid Snake old or "Old Snake" for intimate) and the places visible in the images are close to this episode. Then, as the show three images, it would be a shooter game where you can aim, move his hero or change the zoom via the touch screen. More precise answers will certainly be weeks or months to come.
Konami also took the time to announce more titles on iPhone and iPod Touch: Dance Dance Revolution, Frogger and Silent Hill: The Escape, whose few images are below.
