During an internal conference, held last Friday in London, Sony has outlined some important elements of its future policy. An anonymous source close to dpadmagazine disclosed some information discussed at the conference. We can not for the moment not judge the veracity of this source said, but still discussing the elements advanced.
The European Sony president David Reeves announced that the Japanese firm was preparing to lower the price of the Playstation 3 in March. This decline is therefore timely to take advantage of the release of Killzone 2. No information at this time on the amount of this decline. If this information is difficult to envisage good sales for Sony's machine at Christmas, at least among golfers.
Sony would also commended the success of its console lounge on the PAL territory, announcing Sony Computer Entertainment Europe before SCEA (Sony USA) and SCEJ (Sony Japan). Moreover, some major technological innovations would be scheduled for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Portable. It looks more information, and of course a possible confirmation of the lower prices.
