I Wanted to Know What exactly is the Cyclical redundancy Error and how to deal with when installing a game I tried to Search it on internet but Could not find Solution.

Its Occur when a file is corrupted (damaged) and that the system can not read it. it happens often with compressed files.so there no possible way to recover files from this error.

The most common time you will see the cyclic redundancy check error message is when trying to read data from a damaged CD or DVD. Just before it appears, your CD/DVD drive will probably grind and whirl away - your PC may also become a little slugglish.

A CRC is an error-detecting code. Its computation resembles a long division operation in which the quotient is discarded and the remainder becomes the result, with the important distinction that the arithmetic used is the carry-less arithmetic of a finite field.
