Guitar Hero III launch problem

I just bought Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock for PC. No problems during installation, but when I start the game it does not.

If the CD is not inserted, it asks me to do so, then the cursor changes to show reading the CD (I still see the Windows desktop), and then nothing, no new process, not black screen, no error message, just the normal windows. I tried all modes of compatibility of Windows, uninstall and reinstall the game, but it has not changed.

I read behind the CD different graphics chipsets compatible. Of course, mine does not appear (config see below), but from what I read on other forums, the game is then supposed to display an error message during installation.

So I continued to seek a solution and I installed the patch 1.1 and 1.3 available on the web and then, magic, I receive an error at launch: "The application failed to s initialize properly (0xc000001d). Click on OK to terminate the application." Well ... as there is no other button...so.. OK.

Is there a way to overcome the problem? Because it is not that the game is a bit expensive, but still.

AMD Athlon XP, 1.9 GHz
Motherboard Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe
1GB of RAM
ATI Radeon 9600 / X1050 Series (128MB)

Have you solved your problem Rail racer, because it interests me. Having played Guitar Hero on Console, I am of tate to buy PC because I am not very console. But to read the reviews of this PC gaming is quite disappointing. How do you find the game on your PC?
