    Ubisoft's Massive MMO Plans Start Small

    Following the merger Activision / Vivendi Games, many developers deemed insufficiently profitable found themselves on the hot seat. This "sell high" has obviously been cases that Ubisoft has acquired the Swedish team of Massive Entertainment.

    Today, through an article published by some guys of Eurogamer, we learn that the developer could work on the first massively multiplayer games of the publisher. Nothing specific has been very advanced, but Yves Guillemot seems to regard the translation RTS / MMO Blizzard could successfully be reissued by the Swedes.

    Ubisoft should not engage in direct competitor of heavyweights kind and Yves Guillemot spoke to launch the first MMO "light" as there are many in China including ... It remains to be seen whether the ambition of Ubisoft to launch an MMO stamped Tom Clancy has something to do with this new ad.
