Joystick in Halo 2 Vista

Is there a way to configure settings for a Logitec extreme 3D joystick in Halo 2? Similar to the ingame controller settings.

Halo 2 in Vista is set up for dual joystick controller. A 360º controller works fine, but other controllers will also work properly.

I am using Thrustmaster firestorm dual power 3 joystick. I have problem playing Halo 2 with my joystick. Its not 360. To look or move up up with the camera i have to push the right stick to the right side, and to look down i have to push it to the left. How to fix this problem. I dont want to play it without joystick because playing Halo 2 with keyboard and mouse would not be interesting.
