    Mirror's Edge System Requirements Revealed

At the NVISION 08, several of some guys have had the opportunity to test the PC version of Mirror's Edge, version, which had hitherto been a little overshadowed by its counterparts consoles, the game is scheduled DICE before the end of this year on PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

We surmised, the gameplay offered by this release should be strictly identical to that of grinding consoles, but more interestingly, these early tests also allow us to learn a little about the minimum required to run the beast. If we believe some of the guys at GameCyte, then it would an issue of a machine based on a Pentium IV 2.4 GHz backed by 1 GB of memory.

Side graphics card, it should be on the GeForce 6 (6800 Ultra?) And 256 MB of video memory. It is however the minimum required to start the game and a little cooking its host, our colleague would have been some further clarification: it should actually count with a Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz for the game passes the level of detail "Medium" ... Mirror's Edge should not be a "light".

Awesome, it will have a proc 2 times more powerful than the Xbox 360 to get a run under conditions that will certainly be below ... That team Assassin Creed which has been the optimization?

At the same time, it does not shock you to see such a config required?
"average 2.4 ghz", ya interest that Mirror's Edge is optimized for quad, otherwise it may become future reference "benchmark"

Mirror's Edge Postponed untill Next Year (2009)

From the main U.S. retailers, information must obviously be confirmed before being taken for cash. It would therefore appear that the PC version of the Mirror's Edge of DICE be postponed until next year. If we are to believe GameStop for example, while versions Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 would be kept to November 11 next, milling PC is shifted to 6 January 2009.

A new account should be taken with restraint since DICE had already announced in the past three versions that were out at the same time ... In order not to help them see more clearly, it is worth noting Electronic Arts continues to talk about an exit end of 2008 for all three platforms then Electronic Arts United Kingdom announced that the release date remains to be determined ... Case to be followed in short!

Mirror's Edge PC version System Requirement

Available for almost a month on Playstation 3 / Xbox 360, Mirror's Edge landed on our PCs on January 16 next, that all the players a little concerned by the latest production DICE already know. What they do not, however, the material recommendations made by the Swedish developers.

They do that for now the minimum required to give the Mirror's Edge, but they can already get an idea of the delicacy of the adventures of the young Faith. They were posted on the forums of On Mirror's Edge here and now.

    • Windows XP SP2 / Windows Vista
    • Intel Pentium IV 3 GHz or equivalent
    • 1 GB of RAM
    • 256 MB graphics card compatible Shader Model 3.0
    • 8 GB of free disk space
    • DVD 1x
    • Sound card supports DirectX 9.0c
    • DirectX 9.0c
    • Internet connection to access rankings

If it requires confirmation of course, it is interesting to note that the Internet should not be necessary for activation of the game: to check in the coming days / weeks.
