Command & Conquer: Red Alert & Far Cry Free This Weekend

To believe some guys at Blue's News, Electronic Arts is preparing to make us live a weekend special Command & Conquer: Red Alert. While the game of real-time strategy of the publisher must not leave until almost two months, EA has already put in place the preorder of the first edition and we now reserve a few surprises.

During the weekend, the publisher is actually distributing free Red Alert to celebrate the 13th anniversary of the series. Fans will have to go to the official website www.RedAlert3.com from Sunday and, furthermore, the players have already preorder Red Alert 3 will receive free the second series, Red Alert 2. Finally, these fans will also be entitled to a retrospective of the series, a glimpse of this famous first edition, wallpapers and the sending of Red Alert 3, a map multiplayer exclusive ... On the eve of Labor Day, two publishers announced they will offer some classics from their back catalog for free as preorder incentives. The first is France-based Ubisoft, which is now offering the original Far Cry gratis to those who preorder Far Cry 2 from its online store for $49.95. Released in 2004, the Crytek-developed shooter was hailed as one of top first-person shooters of its day, and was a finalist for GameSpot's FPS of the year. The deal is available only to residents of the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The red alert 3 is really a mess, the Japanese are a very very funny player, and there's a lot of things interesting, even if the gameplay was a little too simplified then this game sort of bores me now.
