How to connect PS3/WII to computer monitor

I want to play the games on my PS3 and WII systems on 1 of the monitors that i have in spare. While searching the web, i had read somewhere about such thing but was not given exactly how to make it out. It was only mentioned there that some type of switching connectors are needed for that. So now i am sure that it is possible and therefore i want to know what type of switching connectors will be need. Any help would be great.

OK. you know that you need switching connector. But for what?
Well, i'll tell you. The switching connector is actually needed for fitting RCA video cord into the computer. So you'll firat have to understand how to do that.

There are many expensive converters available in the market that lets you see TV on the monitor. Any such converter can be collected and attched to your manitor so that you can play on that.

There are also some better ways of doing this. The simple way i know is that just install a TV tuner card into your computer and that will allow you to play on that monitor using WII or PS2 (i think). The TV cards also are cheap and come with remote controls too.

This was just a method i felt. There must be some better methods however, that i am unaware about.

You will require a VGA to RCA adaptor for that. They are easy to connect as well. Once you get them, you can do it yourself.
