I cannot say that there is some latest version of DirectX version available for Windows 98 SE but for me DirectX v.9.0b is working properly. However, you can try to use the web installer from the below link, and it will require a web connection during the installation when it downloads all the components during the installation. Sorry for the bump, but you can install DirectX 9.0c on Windows 98 SE. The last revision you can do this is April 2006. |
