    Speed-up Windows Vista

Vista comes with a new set of battery and power schemes. If Vista seems a bit slower than you expected, give this a shot.

The default power setting in the 'Power Saver' plan limits the CPU to 50 percent. Open the Power Options control panel and change it to 'High Performance' to give push your processor to its top rated speed.
