Due to costly price, it becomes complicated for everyone to buy it. Also it does not give you impressive apps and games like Android. But Windows tablet are ideal for professional usage. You have the complete Windows OS on small screen with great features. It is less hard to manage. You have the Metro UI from which you can launch a set of apps. You can get all the icons on the home screen instantly. Devices like Samsung ATIV Smartpc, Dell Latitude, Microsoft Surface, etc are rich products. We had worked on Samsung ATIV SmartPC and Dell Latitude and found that this tablets are more beneficial in terms of usage. In Android you have to download a third party app for every thing. On Windows platform you don't need much stuff. You can share your files instantly over lan through wifi. You can run exe files. You can run a full office edition on the same. In this short tip we will target how to optimize the tablet to get a more better performance output. Being a Windows tablet it is most common that the output will be affected as you keep on adding new stuff on this. So in future if you are willing to buy then this guide will help you.

InPut Device : Using a Stylus or wireless keyboard/mouse gives you faster work. A Windows tablet is just like a portable laptop or netbook. So you can connect a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse on that and work. While for touch it is easy to navigate photos, play videos, and do other stuff. For typing thing gets slower. You can also use stylus for advance options like handwriting recognition. Samsung ATIV Smartpc is a hybrid that comes with detachable keyboard. You can connect the tablet on it and use it for typing purpose.

Backup Recovery Partition : Most of the tablet comes with 64GB or 32GB storage. And also they provide a usb connection. It is essential that you must backup the recovery partition. It helps you to keep the OS secure which is easy to restore later on. You can extend the storage through usb or microsd card also. Instead of filling the internal space, external storage offer you more storage space. From Control Panel you can create a Recovery Drive that can be used for restoration.

Optimize Startup: A number of process is similar to the regular Windows OS. You can remove applications from startup by going in msconfig. You can search that through charm bar. In that type msconfig and go to Startup. Disable all unwanted applications. Also use a good antivirus. Being a windows platform there are chances of getting virus infection in it.

Remove unwanted programs: Go in Control Panel > Uninstall Program and remove those things which are not required. Do not keep additional toolbars, updates, etc on your device. This consume the memory causing slow output. Most of the tablet runs on 1GB ram. So it can cause problem if more app is loaded in the memory.

Disable Additional Services: In Control Panel under Administrative tools you can find one more options called as Services. Go in it and turn of those which you are not going to use. Ensure that you know which service you are turning off.

Changing Task Bar Properties: Go in the Task Bar settings and in that tap on Navigation. Now here are some extra things that can boost the performance more. Under Start Screen you can see some options. Like the first one Go to Start Screen instead of Sign in. Enable this if you do not want have any account in the tablet. There are more things you can configure here and increase the performance output.

Re: How to optimize Windows Tablet for more performance

I had used windows tablet. It is same like a desktop os. Now in Desktop we have option to increase the ram to enhance more performance. But in tablet we cannot do that thing. So it is better to stick with the minimum number of applications. Compare to Android, I found Windows tablet more featured. It has ample of great things and very easy to operate.
