How to Auto Shutdown PC in UBUNTU Operating System

Linux is a free source operating system, Linux free and more secure than windows. This uses Kernel which was written by Linus Torvalds. Below are the trick to automatically shutdown pc in UBUNTU Operating System .

Trick to Auto Shutdown PC in UBUNTU:-

First open Terminal Windows by pressing Ctrl+Alt+T
Run the below command to install Gnome Schedule.

sudo apt-get install gnome-schedule

now once you install Gnome Scheduler, launch Run Application by pressing Alt+F2 and then copy paste the below command:

gksu gnome-schedule

Now here click on new and then select Recurrent Task:

Now on the Description field enter that message that you want to show, on command field type below command:

/sbin/poweroff

Now on & Date field set the time when you want to shutdown system and click on add button.
Now you system will automatically Shutdown at the scheduled time by display message which you have given.

Hello thanks for the replies but i wanted to Auto Shutdown PC in UBUNTU Operating System without using any software. here you used Gnome Schedule. is there any other method to Auto Shutdown PC in UBUNTU Operating System by scripting or without software.
