    Practical advice about cell phones

    It looks simple but it is not easy to make decision that which phone one should get because there are a lot of choices to make in market which makes us more confusing. So I thought it will be better for me if I start a new thread about this where all of us can post some tips/suggestion to get a mobile phone. So if you want to share something about this then please post your tip over here.

    Just think about the requirements that your phone must meet and the functions that your device may or may not be available. you can select a device to your personal requirements. You can choose the phone according to the below filter.

    • Price range;
    • Brand;
    • Type (block phone, phone or slide phone blow);
    • Touchscreen or not;
    • Weight;
    • Number of GSM bands (which determines where in the world you can use the phone).

    You can also filter the quality of some features that the phone must have, for example:
    • Ease of use;
    • Call;
    • Battery life;
    • SMS;
    • Shooting;
    • Music;
    • Internet;
    • Email;
    • GPS.

    Calling and sms are two most basic feature of the phone, in fact phone is made for this function only. This is possible with any phone, so if you do not want more than that, it is sufficient for simple basic model. These costs also less. At the simplest mobile phones are often functions as a calendar, address book and alarm clock. If this is the only thing you want then you can go for some cheap Samsung, Nokia, LG or Sony Ericsson which are always really good.

    For me, Camera is one of the most important things to be considered. The resolution and quality of the cameras is lower than that of conventional digital cameras, but with some phones you can now get pretty good pictures. the new phones sometimes have a resolution of 8 or even 12 megapixels. The number of megapixels in a camera does not says the camera quality of the phone. Because phones often do not have a good lens and image sensor and as a result of that the image is often poor. The flash on mobile phones is almost always a LED flash which has a very limited range and low light output. If you are looking for a mobile phone with a good camera, look in the segment of phones with a camera and music player. Phones that also have a music player, often have a better camera.

    Many new mobile phones have a music player and FM radio. From your PC, you can transfer music onto your phone and listen. Basic requirements for these phones include a memory card reader or enough RAM.Note that the phone has a standard headphone jack (3.5 mm), so you can plug any headphones.

    A mobile phone is really becoming a communicative rounder. So see to it that this is having good internet connection and good browser. I prefer Operamini for this.

    In addition to browsing with a separate navigation device, you can also navigate with many smartphones. you need special software to install on the phone. The software on the market is roughly split into two versions: online and offline navigation. In online all navigation data directly from the Internet. The routes and destinations than can be continuously updated with online but the disadvantage is that you incur costs for data traffic. This makes online navigation less useful abroad. With offline, You can download the maps on the phone and you have no Internet connection needed to navigate.

    It's worth a phone to try before you buy. How the device feels is important. The first impression you get from the show models in the store is usually only the case of the devices but even more important is the service. Unfortunately, most telecom shops not allow to operate mobile phones before purchase. So it will be better for you to see some videos on youtube.

    First you think that what are your requirement and if the model that you have selected is fulfilling that requirement. Dont go for the phone that is having the features which are not useful for you. You will pay for the facility that is none of your use.
