Android is a widely use operating system on portable devices. It doesn't matter either it is a mobile phone or a tablet. If you have Android in it, then this tips are surely useful for you. I tried to collect maximum tips on this single thread. The first major issue which many has noticed that quick battery drain. The reason is because of high interface. Each new version of Android has much enhanced interface which is really more power consuming. The operating system is growing, but the power support provides almost the same. There is nothing much done with the hardware. Separate processor and ram gives you option to run more apps in quicker way. Internet surfing support and other stuff makes your phone more busy, causing more power drain.
Customize Android phone settings :
- Because of higher number of screens on the phone screen the user tends to add more apps. It is really handy, but the process is resource intensive. I will recommend you to optimize your screen for more better performance. The more widget you place the more phone remains engaged. Sometime the home screen becomes laggy. You must not consider this as a easy task. Try to add the more recommended apps only. The programs work from the home screen directly. Try to add less number of widgets.
- Avoid sound alerts. Android phones comes with multiple type of sound alert which helps you to find new email received or new sms received. You can simply stop the same.Email are continuous process and message alert for the same is not recommended. Enable speed dial or touch dial on the phone. The reason is ease of access.
- Opening your contacts book and then searching the same out is time consuming and consist of running multiple processes. You can use options of speed dial where you can make call just by sum key combination. Set your most visited website on the screen. So that you can press it directly and open it. Anyhow your internet connection keeps working in the background. It reduces issue of launching a browser and then typing the same.
- It is better that you must keep your all folders properly organized. You must not keep blank spaces or multiple folders which are not needed. Put your files in the same and arrange them properly so that you can avoid confusion.
- Disable all those stuff which is not needed. Like the screen alignment stuff. Disable vibration if not required. Also you can disable the app updates and do that manually whenever it is needed.
- Use those applications that allow you to set the CPU performance. It can basically be used for two purposes. Either to improve performance or save battery. In the first case you can overclock the processor of the phone to make it go faster in the second case I could handle the processor in order to reduce consumption considerably. There is app for the same which is called as SetCPU. You can manage the cpu frequency with the same.
