You can also change the background Image in Windows 7 WMP12 by running the regedit and navigating to the following keys - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences and after that just double clicking on the LibraryBackgroundImage key to get a dialog box will appearing and asking for a value. The value to be entered is from 0 to 6. After restart WMP each time you change the key value.
